Imbolc Tarot Forecast – A Season of Quiet Light and New Beginnings part 3

Forecasts for Imbolc Season - Health and Well-Being.

By Tarot Master Helen Renée Wuorio

Imbolc Candles and Snowdrops.
Imbolc Candles and Snowdrops.

Imbolc, celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of February, marks the gentle turning of the Wheel of the Year towards spring. The days are lengthening, the first snowdrops push bravely through the frost, and there is a subtle but undeniable sense that life is stirring beneath the surface. In the Celtic tradition, this sacred fire festival is associated with the goddess Brigid, keeper of the flame, patroness of healing, poetry and inspiration. It is a time of purification, renewal and quiet hope.

As a Tarot Master, I always find that the cards drawn at Imbolc carry a particularly tender energy. They speak not of dramatic upheaval but of awakening. The light is returning, not all at once, but steadily and faithfully. This year, as I laid out the cards for a collective forecast, three distinct themes emerged: love, business and money, and health and well-being. I will post one on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of Imbolc week. What struck me most was the sense of reassurance. The cards did not shout. They whispered encouragement. Let us step gently into what they revealed about love.

Health and Well-being Forecast – Temperance, The Queen of Cups and The Page of Wands

Tarot Card Spread: Temperance, Queen of Cups, Page of Wands.
Tarot Card Spread: Temperance, Queen of Cups, Page of Wands.

For health and well-being, the cards drawn were Temperance, the Queen of Cups and the Page of Wands. These cards speak gently but clearly about balance, emotional awareness and renewed vitality.

Temperance is a card of harmony and moderation. At this point in the year, when winter can still feel heavy, it encourages a thoughtful approach to self-care. Rather than drastic resolutions, Temperance suggests gradual adjustments. Small improvements in diet, movement or rest can have a cumulative effect. It is about integration rather than extremes.

The Queen of Cups brings emotional depth and compassion. Well-being is not solely physical. This card reminds us to honour our feelings and to listen to our intuition. If something feels out of alignment, the Queen of Cups urges you to respond kindly rather than critically. There may also be an emphasis on creative or spiritual practices that nourish the soul, whether through meditation, journaling, prayer or time spent in nature.

The Page of Wands introduces a spark of enthusiasm. This card often signals the return of new energy. You may feel inspired to try a new form of exercise, explore a fresh hobby, or embrace a more adventurous outlook on life. The Page carries youthful optimism. Combined with Temperance and the Queen of Cups, this suggests a journey of well-being that is both gentle and invigorating.

In essence, the message is this: nurture yourself patiently, and vitality will follow. Imbolc is not about forcing transformation. It is about encouraging it. Light a candle, set an intention, and allow your inner fire to grow steadily.

What I find most beautiful about this year’s Imbolc reading is its coherence. In love, hope and mutual growth. In business, practical opportunity and joyful success. In health, balance and renewed energy. There is no sense of chaos or upheaval. Instead, there is steady illumination.

Imbolc teaches us that change often begins invisibly. Beneath the frost, roots are strengthening. Beneath uncertainty, faith is rebuilding. The cards drawn reflect this subtle but powerful truth. If you choose to honour Imbolc this year, you might light a simple white candle and reflect on what you wish to nurture in the months ahead. Ask yourself where you would like more warmth, more clarity, more growth. Then trust that, like the returning sun, progress may be gradual but real.

From a tarot reader’s perspective, this is a deeply reassuring spread. It tells us that we are supported. That hope is justified. That new beginnings are not only possible but already unfolding.

May this Imbolc bring you gentle inspiration, renewed courage and the quiet joy of knowing that spring is on its way.
